TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ)-Former boxer Terry "Sting" Ray of Terre Haute is under police investigation.
Vigo County Prosecutor Terry Modesitt confirmed Ray is the subject of a criminal investigation.
However, he would not comment as to the nature of charges.
Modesitt said as of now, no charges against Ray have been filed.
Terry Ray has a very successful professional boxing career.
In 1994, Ray fought for a boxing championship on national television at ISU’s Hulman Center
